Geoff and Bron Hopkinson and Katya and I spent a night and a day on
Pender Island as guests of Howard and Esther Cummer. Pender is in the
Gulf Islands, just east and a little north of Victoria. Washington
State's San Juan Islands are part of the same group. It was a lovely
getaway.
