Xavier,
     Perhaps get some Tri-X and scan the negatives. :-)
If you develop it carefully in Microdol-X it isn't very grainy at all, 
if with a bit less shadow detail.  Kodak still makes both products.  
It's very grainy if you use HC-110, D-76 less so.
