Rodeo cowboys are required to wear protective headgear, but only up to the age
of 18. After that, it's "optional".
This next series of three photos shows just why protective headgear should not
be "optional" - at any age.
They show how you can go from being where you want to be, to where you don't
want to be, in just one second.

Comments, criticism welcomed, as always.
David.
PS: No animals were injured at Deadman's Creek. But three cowboys were given
first-aid at the scene, and one was rushed to hospital, by ambulance.
