In North America, today was "Father's Day", though in many parts of the world,
fatherhood is celebrated on a different day.
I spend mine, getting up at 4:30 am, in order to be "on site" by 6 am, where
Rose and I, along with 4 others, provided breakfast and lunch for some 250
archers. It was the second day of this routine and was a fund-raising effort
for Rose's Horse Club.
In all, a busy day, and a profitable one for her club. So busy, there was no
time to shoot the archers. A lot of work, but a lot of fun, too.
One of our adopted granddaughters won the youth class, despite her having been
in the sport for just a few months and this being her first tournament. I was
both impressed and pleased for her.
I did manage a shot of one truck ... one I simply could not resist.
It would seem that the owner goes "boonie bashing" a lot and is rather hard on
his truck. It started out life as being all a dark blue, but when he damages
it, he just buys a used part from the auto-wrecker and puts it on, without
concern about the colour.
It sees that "Rainbow" is very "in", these days...

Comments & criticism welcomed, as always.

PS: For all the fathers on this list, no matter where you are ...I hope you
all had a great, relaxing day!
