Doug mentioned the size and weight of the SL/SL2 Mot a while back,

here's a bunch of black beauties to compare the size with and without
motors.
If you put the 250/4 on the SL2Mot you need Sherpas to carry it.
I know it's a rotten quality shot, the EOS 300D doesn't seem to like
being used for close-ups, or I get the shakes
looking at my treasures.
