My Howard, how you bring back memories.
I've not been in Glacier Bay since a day or two prior to the infamous 9-11
attacks, in 2001. (We were in Skagway, that fateful morning).
Your shots are good, very good, but do not do Glacier Bay justice. Mine do not
adequately do the job, either. It is a place that has to be seen, it's that
simple.
For those of you who have not yet been, put a cruise to Glacier Bay, Alaska, on
your "bucket list".

Hello again Flexers,
Early May we were up very early in the morning to see the sunrise in Glacier
Bay. The Crystal Symphony at about 50,000 DWTs
is quite a small cruise ship and so we were able to sail far up the fiord -
further than we could in the much larger 90,000 DWT Princess ship that we
cruised on several years ago with friends from the LUG.
Here is Esther and me, dressed for the Arctic and with the heavy duty camera
equipment in hand. The picture was taken on the Fuji XT 1
by a helpful deck hand.

Such pristine wilderness, viewed through such clear cold air, really takes
