They hold Dragon Boat races on Flathead Lake MT in the late summer or early
fall every year. It’s very well attended with 30 plus boats, lots of
Canadians and copious quantities of local brews and distilled spirits. I
think it goes on for 3 or 4 days not counting recovery time. Ron

That was just one heat, I think the middle boat won that. It went on all
morning.

Yikes!. It looks like those boats could tip over easily. I see that the crew
are wearing life jackets. Great facial expressions.
A winning photo. Who won the race?.

The dragon boats were back at NSU today. That's where inexperienced groups
of people compete with little training in a semi-athletic water non-sport.
This is a cropped pano, shot with my 90mm macro G lens. When you get to the
website, you'll need to click the image to see it big, maybe twice depending
on your browser. I think it's worth looking at big for the faces. ;-)
