Thanks for looking. I only use a tripod for fireworks and other long
exposure images.
I chose the f stop based on getting the entire flower in sharp focus at
the distance I was working, about four feet.
Change of angle would have introduced a bright sky or parts of a house.
I was pretty much locked to that spot if I were to continue using that
lens.
I shoot from a power wheelchair which adds to my stability, but limits my
mobility.
Over all, I’m happy with the image. To me, the foreground beats any
problems with the oof background.
If I print it, I might work on it some more.

Sonny,Regards,
Very sharp photo of sunflower. Absolutely stunning details in the flower.
Learning question for me:
You took photo at f/7 and speed of 1/60.with iso of 100
Did you use tripod?
would decrease in f stop make bokeh more diffuse or changing the angle
would have made difference?
Thank you in advance

The bokeh is a little rough, Sonny, but the detail (and the light) in the
flower is absolutely stunning.
One of your very best! Thanks!
David.
When I took this flower portrait, the detail of her face made me happy.------
Look at it large.
