I am going through some pictures from the Urbach Collection here at the Cammie G. Henry Research Center, and I found this one of the Christmas Festival fireworks in 1950. Click on the image for a larger view, and you'll note that people are sitting on the river bank, just about fifty feet from the fireworks launch! Things sure have changed! http://sonc.com/look/?p=376 -- Regards, Sonny http://sonc.com/look/ Natchitoches, Louisiana USA ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
