The has been an awful season for wildfires all over the west. Seattle
had nearly a week of bad smoke from "your" fires a while back. Now we've
got several going just over the Cascades, and an easterly flow to dump
the smoke here again.

PS: The haze you see in the background is smoke from the Elephant
which started two months ago, just 30 minutes down the road from us.Luckily,
for us, (but not for Boston Flats, Cache Creek and many other areas)it burned
north and we are east of it. It is still burning out of control, having------
consumed nearly 192,725 hectares or just over 476,000 acres to date.
