the biggest issue I have with Live vue is the horrendous shutter lag with no
good work around available.

If it had live view, and you could view the screen through a
view finder, and focus confirm worked at working aperture, I
don't see that as being scary. Without a mirror there
shouldn't be any shutter delay.
What am I missing?
