The format of the S2, at 30x45mm, is 56% larger than that of 35mm
film or a FF sensor. Thus, the mirror must be larger, thus distance
from lens flange to sensor (the "registration") must be
larger. Thus, use of "R" lenses (if you wish to maintain infinity
focus) is simply not possible. It "could" be done, if the adapter
contains an optical system, but ....
