Good evening, Flexers....
I managed to get my little pontoon boat into the water today, for the first
time, this year. It was very windy, so hard to navigate and very few birds to
be seen. In all, not a good day for "duck hunting".
Best catch of the day was a female duck, but identifying females is never easy.
My money's on a female Cinnamon Teal or Blue winged Teal - though no males of
either type were seen. were to be seen and we're right at the northern tip of
the Cinnamon's summer range.
Can anyone here give a better id?
