Well, I’ve had and used Leicas, Nikons, Exacta, Contax, Olies, and all that
jazz , but never encountered such dramatic situations. Don’t wish to, either …
EVER !!!
And Speed-Graphic never belonged to my EU world … Hasselbladt, Rollei and
Mamyia ruled the waves here then.
Of course the camera doesn’t matter - unless it fails you when on location; at
the « decisive moment » as the (wrong) translation of HCB’s words puts it.
OTT : My most reliable cameras to date, I’m sorry to say, have been the fujis,
and the nikons, even though the later didn’t offer as good glass as the former …
Hope I can still use them for the "brighter side of life", as per the Monty
Pythons
Amities

This was forwarded to me by a fellow flexer ...
It's a list of iconic photographs and, more importantly, the cameras used to
take them.
It will dispel any illusions you may have about having to have the most
expensive gear...
It also proves that the best camera is the one you have with you.
