Price, yes.... the deal breaker for many. However, the simple controls of a basically manual camera (R8/9) and the bright viewfinder for my old eyes, and full auto diaphram operation on the lenses would be much better than the 350D or any of the LeiCanon hybrid situations. I have often been tempted when I am in a camera store and see a 20D or the Rebel XT, but once I look into the viewfinder I know I will have to either wait for a Leica solution or scrap all my Leica stuff and go with autofocus lenses on any digital body I would choose. I just can't focus consistantly on those viewfinders. I am glad it works for so many of you, but I have many out of focus photos. Of course, they don't cost anything, but I have shot 20 shots of the same thing and none of them are as sharp as the one shot I take with the R8.
