David, I sincerely hope you will collect a collector's premium when you decide to sell, however, I think you may discover that owning an obsolete (at the time you will be selling it) piece of digital equipment is not the same as owning a mechanical masterpiece such as a M3:( /T Tim Bedsted Senior Principal Consultant, Ph.D Risk Intelligence T: +45 70282857, M: +45 27212857 E: Tim.Bedsted@xxxxxxxxxxx SAS Institute A/S Koebmagergade 7-9 DK - 1150 Copenhagen K www.sas.com/dk T: +45 70282870, F: +45 70282991 SAS... That's still 20 months away. I would have expected them to continue with the DMR until, perhaps 6 months before. My guess the breakdown of their relationship with Imacon (now that Hasselblad own them) is the reason. I think it certainly does Kibosh v1.3 of the DMR's firmware. That's unfortunate, but will not keep my from using/enjoying my DMR. As an aside... it will likely mean that when it comes time for us to sell our DMRs, any buy R10s, they will likely fetch more money, as they will now be "collectible"!
