Douglas,
I've used several of them over the last twenty or so years and they are
fairly good. The problem is that they don't have 6 or 7 elements so they aren't
as
good as say a telemore 95 II which does have 7 elements and very well
corrected.
The vivitar macro-focussing teleconverter also has 7 elements and a helicoid
extension tube built-in & is wonderful. It makes say a 50mm f/2 Nikkor lens
into a 1:1, 100mm f/4 lens and this combo is incredibly sharp.
