Whew... Close call indeed.

I use Caviar Greens myself, but only in redundant situations or for files I 
don't especially worry about losing - iDVD Encodes, .imgs of such, Theatrical 
Archives for my VidBox etc.

If you can get Caviar Blacks I'd consider em, they're WD's Enterprise grade 
stuff. 

How recent were your Green's? Seagate, WD, essentially everybody shipped 
lowgrade drives post the malaysian floods.
