Hi Tim, I use the 80 mm 1.4 a lot, almost a perminant fitting to my R6; it makes for a great viewfinder and is well suited to portraits in almost any light (I don't use flash much). Have you taken a look at the Leica site? Erwin Puts review might help you decide which 80 - 100 mm is best for you (all seem to be well suited to certain applications). http://www.leica-camera.com/produkte/rsystem/objektive/index_e.html and click on the 80 - 100 mm review. I hope this helps regards Keith >>> --- Tim Bedsted wrote: >>> > I was actually wondering about the performance >>>of >>> > the 80mm/F1.4 compared to the 90mm/f2.0 >>> > >>> > /T >>> > >>> > -----Original Message----- >>> > From: leicareflex-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >>> > [mailto:leicareflex-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On >>>Behalf >>> > Of Dave Saalsaa >>> > Sent: 3. maj 2005 08:35 >>> > To: leicareflex@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >>> > Subject: [LRFlex] Re: Change of Topic on 90mm >>> > >>> > Perhaps a 90mm Summicron R wide open.
