Nice image, Dave. I'm sure that a 16 by 20 would not only do it justice but
would also convey the presence of that charging bull a lot better than my
laptop
screen.
Now...about the protective headgear. I know that even what appears to be a
minor
head injury can have serious long-term effects BUT would anyone already
choosing
to engage in this type of activity actually show the effects that much?

Subject: [LRflex] Caught!

I spent an enjoyable day, yesterday, at the Pritchard Rodeo. Up in
the hills, it was a modest 32 degrees! (That's 90, in the shade, in
the US of A.)

Bull riders wrap their hand around a rope, tied around the
bull. With that, and their legs, they try to hold on, for an 8 second ride.

Occasionally, however, when thrown, or when trying to dismount after
a qualified ride, their hands get caught in the rope, and they cannot
get free. Being tied to a 1000kg raging bull, can be a terrifying
and dangerous experience, which can often last much longer than the
original 8 second ride!
