I spent an enjoyable day, yesterday, at the Pritchard Rodeo. Up in the hills, it was a modest 32 degrees! (That's 90, in the shade, in the US of A.) Bull riders wrap their hand around a rope, tied around the bull. With that, and their legs, they try to hold on, for an 8 second ride. Occasionally, however, when thrown, or when trying to dismount after a qualified ride, their hands get caught in the rope, and they cannot get free. Being tied to a 1000kg raging bull, can be a terrifying and dangerous experience, which can often last much longer than the original 8 second ride! http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Caught.html Comments & criticism welcomed, as always...
