Don't forget the upcoming Sd1 from Sigma. It might be the best solution, still with stopped down metering, however. Zeiss on Nikon may be the other solution, albeit w/o the R lenses you already have. But I can attest so far that the Nikon D7000 is a great camera with the 50/2R. It is great to be able to see out the viewfinder again, unlike my Rebel, poor thing. Hope it is as good with my 100/2.8 APO when I get it converted.
