Hello Bill, here's an article on the original Canon adapter (AFAIK it also fits FL and not just FD).and was made only for telephoto lenses. VERY rare and VERY expensive. http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/reviews/canon_fd_eos_adapters.html There are plenty of adapters out there with and without correction lenses, some may be junk, some may not - I think the best bet is to to browse around the Web and see what people think about them. I tried this one with a correction lens with a Vivitar 5.6/400 and 4.5/75-260 and the results were not too bad. There may be better ones out there, but this one is ok for my needs. *http://tinyurl.com/2wr422a* It looks more or less identical to the one shown on Bob Atkins site, but is much cheaper. BTW: Some of the best and most believable lens and best adapter reviews can be found on OT websites like astronomy or birding/wildlife sites.
