Thanks for the clarification :-)

We bought heaps of peppers for the gulash there and had some too. Hungarian
gulash is the best I’ve had, so far ;-)

Thanks, Philippe!

And, yes, you shoot Buda from Pest.  ;-)

At least, you shoot the Buda castle, from Pest.

For those to whom these statements make no sense, understand that Budapest
was originally two cities ... the hilly Buda, to the west of the Danube and
the flat Pest to the east of the river.

The two towns were joined, in 1849 by the Chain Bridge (photos to follow),
which was the first permanent bridge across the Danube, in Hungary.  Today,
Budapest has 7 bridges across the Danube.

David.

Nice !

We were there some years ago now, but I can't remember if you shot Buda
from Pest or the other way round ;-)

Keep digging

After our first day in Budapest, we came out of "Spoon" - a restaurant
I would not recommend - after dark and were treated to a gorgeous view
of Budapest Castle, which is just across the river and overlooks the
city.

I'd not brought at mono or tripod on the trip. But, carefully holding
the camera on the rounded top of a railing post, did the trick.

Comments, criticism welcomed.
