A couple weeks ago in a nearby county park: http://www.wildlightphoto.com/mammals/btde03.html Technical stuff: Leicaflex SL, 400mm f/2.8 FD, Provia 100F, tripod, kneepads. The 400mm f/2.8 (formerly Sal DiMarco's) has been nearly ideal for the forest environment, allowing me to use fine-grained films where previously I had been struggling for usable shutter speeds with fast films. I wish it were about 5 lbs lighter. All comments and critique welcome.
