Since this group is largely populated by gentlemen who are far too 
polite to point out some things that should be obvious to you, I'll 
just hafta be the bad cop.

The subject we've been discussing on this list, at least as represented 
by the shots I stuck up yesterday, centers around the production of 
ACCEPTABLE snaps of EASY TO SHOOT subject matter with LEICA LENSES on 
CANON DIGITAL CAMERAS.

What you are showing here, as usual, is a BEAUTIFUL picture of a VERY 
DIFFICULT TO SHOOT subject with a CANON LENS on a LEICA CAMERA.  On 
FILM, for corn's sake.

Not to mention a body of work which is all too easily interpreted as an 
object lesson in the idea that humble, disciplined dedication of one's 
human capabilities to the simplest and most accurate representation of 
natural beauty is a high calling, indeed.

Sorry, dude, but I just couldn't hold my digits back any longer.
