Hi David, Well done as they all look real. :-) I trust you have the same good shoot with the jet flight today. ted -----Original Message----- From: leicareflex-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:leicareflex-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Young Sent: Sunday, July 06, 2008 7:18 AM To: leicareflex@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; leica@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [LRflex] Big Bird Big Bird is not just the large yellow bird on Sesame Street. Here, in Logan Lake, it is a two-day gathering of model airplane enthusiasts, from as far away as Saskatchewan and Oregon. Taking photos of models is difficult for two reasons... First of all, they move so fast, and are so close to you, that the relative motion is much greater than real planes at a real airshow. Secondly, they are, of course, much smaller, and it's tough to get a background which allows them to have any semblance of looking "real". I gave it a stab, yesterday. http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/BigBird.htm Comments, criticism welcomed, as always. Cheers! PS: I'm heading back there, in an hour ... for today there is rumoured to be a jet powered model, with a 6 foot (~2 meter) wingspan, which is to fly, this morning. This, I've got to see! --- David Young, Logan Lake, CANADA Limited Edition Prints at: www.furnfeather.net Personal Web-site at: www.main.furnfeather.net Stock Photography at: http://tinyurl.com/2amll4 ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/ -- No virus found in this incoming message.
