Hi Xavier,
digital viewfinder - I'd hate this - I do NOT want to look at pixels
when I look through the eye piece - I want to look at people, at
landscapes, animals, etc. - is this not why we all bought Rs? the
clearer, the larger, the sharper mirror you could get?
However, I quite agree with you Xavier on the idea of a "cheap" basic
Digital R. (went to a Canon shop last thursday for a close look at my
Xmas Rebel; felt frustrated indeed; see above)
 Not OK at all with you on a digital viewfinder though - or didn't I get
what you meant?

Your snap of the old camera was fine all the same - even though a wizard
managed to improve it a bit further.
But in the old days, photographers took rolls, and the people in the lab
made the best of photos of them (or ruined them sometimes too :-( );
seems the world goes on as it would, doesn't it?

Have a nice evening.

Phileican't stand digital viewfinders ( ;-) ) but would enjoy a D back
for any R from 3 up.
