Bailey's Beads are the little bits of light, still visible when the moon has
fully covered the sun during a total eclipse. They are the bits that shine
through the valleys between the mountains on the moon and are visible for only
a few seconds.
Hard to see, furtive in nature and almost impossible to photograph.
This shot has no visual appeal and is definitely not "art"!
But it is the first time, in 5 eclipses, that I have actually been able to
photograph Bailey's Beads and I admit more through good luck than good
management.
