I'm a little late in commenting... We've been traveling in both the US and Canada for the last 2 to 3 weeks, and had little time to spend at a keyboard. That said, I did look at this shot when it was first put up, and have just done so again. The biggest problem of w/a lenses, for me, is that while they "get it all in", the image details become so small as to make the shot close to useless. By cropping the way you've done, you've eliminated tons of irrelevant area and made a panorama shot which works exceptionally well! the composition leads the eye well, and the photo gives the viewer a real 'taste' of the area. Nicely done! BTW: which free BW conversion plug-in did you use? It seems to work quite well!
