True. Especially with the lens hood on. Can't reach the filter at all.
Even with the hood off, you have to zoom to the wide range to get to the
filter. Just be sure you are in focus, because if you change the focus
later, it will rotate the filter. One nice thing is that I have noticed NO
focus shift as you zoom, so it works well if you have the time. I usually
do, so I put up with the inconvenience of using a PL with the lens to have
the convenience of the zoom and the high performance of the lens.
And I think the 35-70/4 is only a ROM lens. Doug would know better.
