Good evening, Bill. Wow, could I persuade you to sometime post some of those
images side by side, please! :) I’ve never been out there, other than through
books and Google street-view; but I’m certain that I’m not alone in asking if
there are differences that you can discern it would be wonderful to see them,
too, particularly if there are decades of distance between the images.

I may have innocently and unknowingly engaged in that process by taking many
photos in Yosemite that sort of, or to some degree, mimic, or pay homage to,
one or more of Adam’s images.
It is hard to take any photo of the entire Valley from what is now Tunnel
View without making a version of his iconic view from that place with the
storm clouds.
But we all keep trying. I have dozens.

updating his earlier work.

re-photographic projects in Canada, France, or elsewhere? It's a fascinating
concept - to create similar, if not exact, views from over a large span of
time.
