Just for fun, here is another view of the same Elk (Wapiti).
Note the brown grass in what should be a snow covered landscape. Most unusual,
that far north. Mind you, it's no better at home, where we are anticipating a
Brown Christmas!

Techie stuff ... This image: 1/60th, f6.7 (wide open), ISO 640. Previous image:
1/320th, f8, iso 1250. Both with Oly's consumer grade 75~300 tele-zoom @ 300mm
(600 equiv. fov on a mFT camera.)
