G'Mornin' Peter!
Thanks for your kind words.
I am most impressed with the sharpness of the Leica DG Vario-Elmar, even if it
is a Panasonic-built lens. I am also most impressed with the Optical Image
Stabilization in the lens, as witnessed by this shot...

which was taken from a moving boat, hand-held, wide open, at a modest 1/500th &
ISO 640. The shot has been cropped to about 60% of it's original.

Wow! The clarity/sharpness is impressive; but so is the technique and
composition. Well done, sir! :)
Best regards,

I am simply amazed at the abilities of the OIS in the Pana-Leica
100~400. This shot was made, hand-held, at 1/50th of a second, f6.3,
and at 400mm! ISO was 640. By rights, that should be impossible, but
it is readily repeatable with this lens.
Comments, criticism welcomed, as always.
David.
