Just for you (and anyone else who is not familiar with it), the Argus A came
out in about 1936, and sold for the princely sum of US $12.50 at that time. It
had a decent, ollapsible lens and a bakelite (early plastic) body.
Just for fun, here are two small pix... one of Ted with his Argus "A" (I did
not take the shot!) and the other a much clearer shot of the camera.

Yes, I'm 89 yrs. old, 90 this coming May 2019 And yes I still knock
off frames via digital LEICA M8's about the "Elderly Home folks" where
I now live where I may see something that works. I have the first
camera I ever owned that my wife gave me for my first birthday after
we were married 27 May 1951, Oh I put lots of rolls through it way
back then. However there is a roll in it since the early 1950's or so
and I've been temped on many occasions to develop it just for the hell
of it! HOWEVER? THE TIME HAS COME and it shall be done in the next few
days and the results will be on the screen shortly! THEN WE=SHALL
