Amazing. We had similar swings in the weather here down south of you, but
not so drastic. We had the low 90's for a few days and now today it is
rather chilly (50) with the high only suppose to be in the upper 60's. Lots
of wind yesterday, too, but no snow last night. Strange.

Can't sleep... guilty conscience, I guess. Up, wide awake, at 2:15am.
Yesterday, we hit 35.9C (96.6 F) here in Logan lake. But, today the weather
has turned unseasonably cold over all of BC. After a lovely 26C (79F) day,
it cooled in the evening, and ferocious winds came up, blowing trees over
our roads and leaving some 30,000 people without power.
Now, at 2:22am, it is +0.9C (33.6F) and there is snow on my car! In the wee
hours of May 24th! Ridiculous!
So, naturally, I had to try a shot of Rose's truck illuminated only by one
40W-equivalent LED bult about 10 feet away, and some street lights,
considerably further away.
To me the first amazing thing is that no colour correction has been applied.
The colour of the snow is right, and the camera was set to AWB. Previous
efforts, with the Mark 1 version of Oly's EM-1 resulted in a distinct yellow
tint to the snow, before correction. This is my first shot, of this type
since getting the new, MK II version, in January.
The second amazing thing is that the auto-focus worked, almost instantly,
even when I could barely see through the viewfinder.
Now, I am a great believer in Olympus' in-body IS - but even so, the third
amazing thing is that the exposure was ISO 640, f2.8 at one (1) second ...
hand held! (OK, so I braced the back of my left hand against the house, but
the camera and my other hand were flailing about, in the air. And I was
shaking, at near 0C, and me in only my housecoat.
So, here is Rose's truck. Not great art. Not even so-so art. But, take a
look for yourself, and be amazed, as I was.

PS: Our forecast is cool, Wednesday, with rain, improving each day after
that, until we hit the 30's (Celsius) again, by Sunday. Welcome to spring,
