I agree with Doug. That's surely not the best one can do with the 100  
APO.

Maybe the lens is misaligned?
Maybe the scanner really isn't as good as the last one?

This was handheld on a Contax RTS II with the Zeiss 85/1.4 on ISO 20  
SPUR Orthopan UR.
Scanned on a Konica Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 II at 5400 dpi.

That makes the scan approximately 37 Mpixels.


OK, this isn't a comparison (maybe I'll do one soon) but one can  
still get good results on film :)
