Now Bald Eagles are common as dirt, both around here and in the north. But
Golden Eagles are bigger birds and seen far, far less often.
Here's the one we found resting on the roof of one of the old buildings, down
at the Dease Lake float-plane dock.
It is the first one I've had the chance to photograph.
