It's riverside vegetation, Aram, a kind of rush. To morrow morning I shall ask to a friend, biologist; I'm sure she could identify it more exactly. These bushes are about one kilometer from the walls. Really I was looking for trees (some cipress I saw before) to use it as a frame around the city, but found these reeds and thought they made fine contrast against the stone. It is interesting, as is the walled city behind. Sometimes it seems issued from a fairy tale... Oh yes Marc ! Beautiful ! The first one is a keeper for sure - worth printing large - the Dig3 performed better than expected? teasing/taquin the second one has nice and warm tones and beautifully saturated colours to it - can I conclude that Velvia is still in your heart? Nice to see a country I worked in June/July last year, and missed somehow this year.
