Part of me doesn't quite know why I like that woodland scene. it's soft and the foreground is out of focus. It may have lost sharpness because of camera shake. The other part of me wants to say "but..." . This image has a painterly quality about it. Emotionally, this image conveys exactly what we want an image to do. it places the viewer right there, in the woods at dusk. As one who spends a lot of time tromping around in the bush at all times of day, always with a camera, I often seek to communicate that experience. This image does it. Dave, in the BC backwoods. ________________________________ From: Walter Kramer <walter.kramer@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: leicareflex@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wed, April 7, 2010 6:10:37 AM Subject: [LRflex] A couple of B&W 35mm A couple of quick captures and low res scans, maybe fit to meditate upon. http://www.flickr.com/photos/25126059@N02/4499374045/sizes/l/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/25126059@N02/4499372277/sizes/l/ -- Walter Krämer walter.kramer@xxxxxxxxxxxx walter.kramer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Bus: 03 9854 2463 Mob: 0414 884 965 ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
