Well, Doug, that makes me feel a wee bit better!Of course, I didn't see the size of the stone which hit the lens...though I'd say the size of the stones which hit me were substantial!
After I cleaned the dirt and mud off the lens and camera, it all still worked, and I cannot tell any difference in the quality of images ... though, I guess, there could be a slight increase in flare, under certain circumstances.
