Good morning, Flexers! Rodeos can be very entertaining, but they are also a dangerous sport. And, despite the concerns of animal welfare groups, the sport is far more dangerous to its human participants than the animals. When a bull rider gets on, he loops one hand through a rope so that he has some possibility of staying on the animal. On rare occasions, when he is tossed off, the loop, and his hand, get stuck. At that point, he is completely tied to a very annoyed, 1000kg beast. Here are 7 photos, in one panel, which will show you what I mean... http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/LottaBull.html BTW, these were shot last Sunday, between 16:04:30 and 06:04:38 --- Just 8 second that, I'm sure, felt a lot longer, to the cowboy! C&C welcomed, as always. ------------- David Young - Photographer Logan Lake, BC, Canada Wildlife & Sports: www.furnfeather.net Personal pages: www.main.furnfeather.net A micro-lender through KIVA.org. ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
