At 11 MP, other than the slight difference in exposure, I can't see any
difference. It would be nice to try them wide open to see if there is any
difference.
It would also be nice to see if on film one can see a difference. Maybe
some nice Technical Pan????
Ok, not a run-of-the mill film. How about Velvia?

Sorry folks,
Here is the URL: http://home.comcast.net/~photo-m7/comparo.html
Warning: there are two images which are over 300K each. The images were minimally processed; the detail images were simply cropped from a much larger image.

Taking a hint from Aram, I did a quick comparison of a Leica 50mm Summicron-R with a Canon f1.4 AF lens. I think this is a fair comparison, as both lenses cost about $350 in the open market (Canon is new; Leica is used) .
The body is a Canon 1Ds.
I'm looking for comments/suggestions.
Enjoy,

Hi John!
I'd look and perhaps even comment... if I knew where to look! (Hint!) ----------
