Thanks Doug, I will remove the bayonets (by the leitax instruction) and see what is going on. It appears to me that the shims are only needed for the 1st cam. I will see. I intend to remove the second cam from my 3-cam elmarit 28mm (I use this lens with the R3 camera only) and instal it to my summicron 3rd cam only lens. The second cam in the elmarit has cut-out so it will probably fit the summicron. Will report back!
