Why not just leave the adapter on the body. It much simpler that way.

Hello Again,
I have two adapters - which allows you to have two lenses in play at once and I never seem to need more than that. Main reason is I rarely go out with more that two - generally the 28 Elmarit and the 90 Summicron - for "widish - near standard" views and medium tel views. I could get by with one adapter I think, but the second one is handy. I would start with only one and see how it goes. BTW I have tested the Canon 24 f1.4 against the 28 Elmarit f2.8 and on the 20D in the corners you get less colour fringing with the Elmarit than with the Canon with both lenses set at f2.8. This is a real tribute, IMHO, to the quality of Leica glass - because the Canon 24 is one of the best Canon wide angle lenses - or so I am told.

Dear david,
About metering - what garbage!!! - the metering works juts fine in Aperture preferred mode and is very accurate in my experience. If you get one of these babies you won't go back to film - I bet on it!

Thanks, Howard. That's what I understood, and couldn't quite believe the fellas.

OK - last dumb question (for now). Can you conveniently get by with one LeiCanon adapter, or do you really need one adapter for each lens you wish to use?

I'm getting very tempted!

and Kong Hei Fat Choi to you too! May the year of the Rooster be good to you! :)

Cheers!
