Ted, You missed the boat! What I was asking, is why do the digital lenses have lockout lugs so that they cannot be used on film bodies, if in fact that they are better???? A true comparison cannot be done on a film camera body, especially a Canon, for this lockout reason! No SMOKE, JUST FACT! Let Canon and others disprove this observation! Art
