The third shot is the power lines waiting to be strung on the poles. It provides challenges to small planes landing at the Palo Alto airport. Once they dry and get strung, I'll go out there to photograph the planes that don't make it... ;-) Bob Adler Palo Alto, CA http://www.raflexions.com ________________________________ From: Roger Beamon <rbeamon1@xxxxxxx> To: leica@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2009 6:18:44 PM Subject: Re: Sunday Walk Good grief! What, pray tell, are those poles for, and OK, I give up...what is the 3rd shot? Unterminated power lines? Nah, they wouldn't be swinging so symmetrically. I might need to know where this is in Palo Alto, Bob. We go through there on the way to daughter's place at The Sea Ranch. Don't want to miss out on such splendor. ;-) Roger We're fortunate enough to live near an estuary with lovely walking paths. Today I took the camera and took a few grab shots. There's an installation of poles that was a commissioned work: http://raflexions.com/PESO/content/L1001060_large.html There are a couple of other snaps in there. Nice to be able to walk in such a lovely place. I feel very lucky... Bob Bob Adler Palo Alto, CA http://www.raflexions.com
