Hello Birders,
I hope you are having a beautiful, somewhat rainy, and cool Memorial Day
weekend. This is Kassie Moore. I have volunteered to take over the LEAS
newsletter "Scissortail". Lena has been the editor behind this lovely
newsletter for 6 years. She has done an amazing job. That being said, my
qualifications to become the so-called editor are somewhat lacking. I do have
a lot of experience in writing lesson plans, designing worksheets and science
labs. So, this will be a little bit of a learning curve for me! Please be
kind and patient as I dive into this new venture.
If you will please reply to this email and begin sending any May photographs
you would like to share.

Note: Feel free to send up to 6 photos. Identify the bird or wildlife in the
following format:
1. Bird Name, Location, Date
2. Bird Name, Location, Date etc.
Also, please make sure your full name is on the email. I know not all email
addresses have names associated with it.
True story - While teaching I had a parent send me an unsigned email. The
email address was "tequilashotmomma". Obviously I did not ask the whole class
whose mom it was! Ha ha!
