As you probably know, support for Firefox ESR 52 has ended on
September 5. If you have version 52.9, you already have the last
version that will support legacy addons.
What does it mean for ExtractFace?
ExtractFace requires MozRepl, a legacy addon. Without it, ExtractFace
cannot control Firefox. If you update Firefox ESR to version 60,
MozRepl and ExtractFace will stop working.
To continue to use ExtractFace, you have no choice but to disable
automatic update in Firefox. As a short-term solution, that could do
the job, but it will become a security problem eventually (no security
update). There is already a long list of vulnerabilities for Firefox
ESR prior to version 52.9 (ref.:
https://www.tenable.com/plugins/nnm/700339).
To mitigate this (if you choose to disable update), you should not use
your Firefox ESR 52 for anything else than ExtractFace and you should
use it inside a virtual machine, as a way to protect the host.
I also suggest you to keep a copy of the Firefox ESR 52.9 installer
and the MozRepl xpi, for later installation.

right click on the green button, "Save link as..." then save the xpi

What will happen to ExtractFace?
Before working on a new ExtractFace, I want to know which functions
