Java Might Be Back In The Running

Not sure if you guys have heard this, but they are doing some control
system training via webcast this weekend.
According to the outline for the webcast (found here:
http://first.wpi.edu/Workshops/frccon932.html ) there will be some
significant sections on Java. This includes specifics on the APIs and
JVMs we will be using.
So it looks like Java is not a viable language.
Let me know what you guys think.
